Cover with Apollo-Soyuz mission insignia cachet & pre-printed, facsimile signatures of American crew; cover to Loretta Menard, 10-cent First Man on the Moon stamp, postmarked First Day of Issue, Sep 9, 1969, Washington, DC, and Jul 20, 1969, Moon Landing USA, with flap stuck to back of cover with First Day of Issue USPS Inauguration cachet, Oct 7, 1971, San Francisco, CA; 4.7″x3.6″ NASA “meatball” sticker; 3.5″ Skylab program sticker; and 3.6″  Apollo 11 insignia sticker with Rockwell International info on back.

James Dean was the NASA director of films, publications, and television, and then the Director of the Fine Arts Program at NASA from 1961 to 1974. He then became the Curator of Art at the National Air and Space Museum.

NOTE: Signatures on Apollo-Soyuz cover are pre-printed facsimiles, NOT authentic hand-written. Flap on Apollo 11 cover is stuck to back of USPS Inauguration cover.
