Philatelic Letters to Gene Cernan, Set of 2



From astronaut Gene Cernan’s personal collection.

Two items to Gene Cernan with stamps: 8.2″x11.5″ German letter from Heinrich Steins, 30 August 1969, four Munich 1972 Olympics & three Women’s Suffrage stamps; and 10.3″x7.7″ folded card honoring Apollo 17, signed by the Burgomaster of Koksijde, Belgium, with mission insignia and two Belgian space stamps, postmarked with Apollo 17 graphic, 9.12.72 & 10.12.72, with “To Astronaut Cernan” written faintly on back.

NOTE: Larger letter has slight tear along fold near right edge, several bends, and edge wear.
