NASA 8.5″x10.75″ booklet from December 1988 summarizes key elements of national policy and NASA goals, objective & planning for rest of 2oth Century, with five illustrations by James Dean; and large, 9.5″x4.1″ postal cover with blue cachet showing detail of Robert McCall’s mural at Johnson Space Center, Texas.

James Dean was the NASA director of films, publications, and television, and then the Director of the Fine Arts Program at NASA from 1961 to 1974. He then became the Curator of Art at the National Air and Space Museum.

NOTE: Because we have multiple sets available, condition may vary slightly from example shown. Booklet covers slightly scuffed and a little worn.
