Chicago-born Jim McDivitt and parents lived a while in Jackson, Michigan, which proudly claims to be his “home town”: Jun 16, 1965 cover marks Home Town Celebration for him after Gemini IV and his subsequent promotion to Lieutenant Colonel, with facsimile signature; and Mar 1, 1972 cover celebrates his promotion to Brigadier General.
