Kathy Sullivan – Dive to Challenger Deep 8×10


Kathy Sullivan, America’s first woman to perform an EVA in space, is also the first woman to visit the deepest spot in the oceans; the Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean. Sullivan is pointing at that deepest point, seen in the submersible’s porthole, 35,853 feet below sea level.
