Gene Cernan – Apollo 10 Launch/Lunar-Orbit/Splashdown Cover

From astronaut Gene Cernan’s personal collection.

“Commemorative Philatelic Cover” with Disabled American Veterans Airman’s Squadron cachet “Commemorating The Flight Of Apollo 10” with crew names, “For Astronaut Eugene A. Cernan”, postmarked 1969, La Verne, CA, on three mission dates with event titles: May 18 “Blast Off”; May 21 “Lunar Orbit”; and May 26 “Splash Down”. Signed by lunar module pilot Gene Cernan in black. Sealed, but with nothing inside, and a self-adhesive plastic sheet was applied to the back, causing cover to noticeably wrinkle.

COA included.
