Charlie Walker – STS-41D Landing 8×10


Space shuttle Discovery, on its maiden flight, touches down on lakebed runway 17 at Edwards Air Force Base, California, on September 5, 1984, ending its STS-41D mission and Charlie Walker’s first spaceflight. Walker was the first private/commercial astronaut in space, and a payload specialist on three space shuttle missions.
