Thermal Area On Pluto (Original)

Pluto may have a hot core, and even liquid subsurface. There is evidence of ice volcanoes, and this painting suggests the existence of hot springs, as well. The liquid bubbling to the surface may be water, liquid nitrogen, neon, or some other supercooled gas. Whatever it may be, it likely freezes almost immediately.

24.25″x19.5″ framed as shown with acid-free paper mattes.
