Here is one of the ideas that sparked my current line of work. After several years of dreams about finding abandoned rockets, I had the idea while passing a Saturn 1B in Ardmore, Alabama on I-65, asking myself, “What if I actually found one abandoned in the woods?” It became a representation of rediscovery of forgotten dreams within myself. A return to that childlike spirit of adventure. A return to dreaming of who we want to be.

The original was painted in India ink and acrylic ink.
