Limited-edition, 18.5”x28” art print from 2013, signed & numbered 4/30 by space & fantasy artist Bob Eggleton, depicts an exploratory mission to Mars, as it might have been imagined in 1949. A classic, retro-style rocket rests on Mars’ moon Deimos, while two astronauts gaze up at the imposing planet, with moon Phobos to the left, prominently displaying its huge Stickney Crater. Eggleton sketched, initialed & dated a pencil remarque image of a similar rocket in the lower right border during Spacefest VIII in 2017, making this a truly one-of-a-kind art piece!
