A Giant Leap, by Alan Bean (Framed)

Neil Armstrong’s first step on the Moon was Apollo’s most celebrated moment. Unfortunately, there was no one in a good position to photograph it, so Alan Bean painted this view that history missed. Neil stands with his right foot on the lunar module landing pad, then shifts weight to his left foot on the lunar surface, thus planting the first human footprint on the Moon.
