Once An Eagle, 334th Fighter Squadron by Paul R. Jones (Framed)
$395.00
SIGNED & PERSONALIZED TO JIM MCDIVITT BY ARTIST PAUL R. JONES!
From astronaut Jim McDivitt’s personal collection.
Paul R. (Randy) Jones evocatively depicts a 334th Fighter Squadron F-15E Strike Eagle dropping its bombs during a night raid, while a full Moon shines brightly through a break in the clouds. RAF No. 71 Eagle Squadron of American volunteers early in WWII (insignia left of title), was later constituted into America’s 334th Fighter Squadron in 1942 (insignia right of title). Jones signed and personalized this limited-edition, 24″x18″ print, number 62/1200, “To Brig Gen Jim McDivitt, Fighter Pilot, Astronaut. with greatest admiration (and it looks like things haven’t changed since 40+ years. Fighters still used as Bombers!!!)”.
Framed as shown: 27″x22.7″
