Six Planetary Exploration items: rare 1997 NASA 27″x33.4″ fold-out poster of solar system geology with graphics on front and descriptions on back; 6.9″x10″, 36-page National Geographic reprint of Journey to Mars article with Mariner orbiter photos and beautiful Mars art by Ludek Pesek; 3.4″ NASA JPL 1989 missions button; 1.75″ Viking probe button; 8-page NASA brief on Exploring the Inner Planets; 2-page July 24, 1975 KSC Press Release about Viking launch preparations.

Dr. Forostenko led a Russian language team at NASA’s Astronaut Office to prepare astronauts to communicate with cosmonauts during Apollo-Soyuz, working closely with both crews as instructor-interpreter.

NOTES: Poster shows a little wear along fold lines. Press release has some wrinkles.
