Unused 10.25″x9″ se-tenant sheet of 50 American stamps from May 29, 1992 joint Russian/American Space Accomplishments stamp issue, designed by Vladimir Beilin (Russia) and Robert McCall (USA) to portray past achievements and future cooperation in space. American and Russian Apollo-Soyuz mission commanders signed (upside down) in black on top margin.
Dr. Forostenko led a Russian language team at NASA’s Astronaut Office to prepare astronauts to communicate with cosmonauts during Apollo-Soyuz, working closely with both crews as instructor-interpreter.
