This poster announced Alan Bean’s one-man show at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum from July 16, 2009 until January 13, 2010, featuring forty of Bean’s original drawings and paintings, including his beautiful Kissing the Earth, from which the poster image was taken. The opening date marked the 40th Anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11, the first mission to land humans on the Moon. Signed in gold.
Published in July 2009.
