STS-74 Patch


STS-74 made the second docking of a US Space Shuttle to the Russian Space Station Mir. The Shuttle delivered a Russian-built Docking Module to be attached to the Space Station to facilitate future dockings between Shuttles and Mir. Chris Hadfield was the fourth Canadian to fly on a Shuttle, but the first Canadian mission specialist.
