Gunter was a German-born American mechanical engineer who was in charge of the spacecraft close-out crews at the launch pads from 1961-66 & 1968-75.
Comes with a very detailed LOA from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation as part of the Astronaut Autograph Club.
Unfortunately, Gunter passed away right before he was able to sign the LOA.
