This 1″ sterling silver medallion of Our Lady of Loretto, Patroness of Aviators and Air Travelers, was flown aboard Apollo 9 in Earth orbit, 3-13 March 1969, with Jim McDivitt in command. Front shows Our Lady of Loretto’s face with “Protect My Flight”, and back shows an airliner. Comes in original box.

Includes folded card with detailed and fascinating story behind Our Lady of Loretto, and the development and dedication of this medallion.

COA signed by McDivitt included.
