Bruce McCandless – Distant MMU 8×10 (Framed)



An untethered Bruce McCandless looks rather small and alone while flying the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU) on its first flight at quite a distance from Space Shuttle Challenger during STS-41B in 1984. McCandless joined the astronaut corps in the final Apollo group, and helped develop the MMU. Signed in silver.
