Apollo 15 command module pilot Al Worden poses in his white spacesuit for an official NASA portrait. Worden remained in lunar orbit, while Dave Scott and Jim Irwin explored the lunar surface. Worden then became the first human to work outside the spacecraft while partway between the Moon and the Earth.
