Apollo 7’s S-IVB final stage orbits the Earth, with its Cape Canaveral launch site visible about 140 miles below. Wally Schirra, Walt Cunningham, and Donn Eisele tested the redesigned command module, and simulated rendezvous and docking for a future lunar module by using the red target mounted to this S-IVB.

Available only in an 8×10.
