Jim Lovell – Damaged Service Module 8×10

$410.00$605.00

As Apollo 13 approached Earth for its reentry, the damaged Service Module (SM) was jettisoned from the occupied Command Module (CM) Odyssey. The crew saw for the first time the damage that nearly cost them their lives. Jim Lovell was the mission’s commander (CDR), and inscribes “Houston, we’ve had a failure” above his autograph, although his actual radio transmission was “Houston, we’ve had a problem!”

NOTE: Lovell wrote “failure” in the inscription, instead of “problem”.

COA included.

Printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper.

Framed with a 3″ embroidered mission patch.
