First Day Cover from Germany honors the 350th Anniversary of the Bad Reichenhall-Traunstein Brine Pipeline, 1619-1969. FIDACOS cachet depicts salt extraction in prehistoric times. Deutsche Bundespost stamp, postmarked Bonn 4.9.1969 (4 September 1969), shows path of pipeline over the mountains. Signed in green by Jim McDivitt.
