COVER SIGNED BY GENE CERNAN, PLUS UNIQUE SCULPTURE!

From astronaut Gene Cernan’s personal collection.

Stylized, 16″x11.75″x5.75″ metal airplane model, resembling a Wright Model B, mounted to large, heavy lava rock on 9.75″x14″ wooden base, with brass plate inscribed “In Fond Appreciation of the Visit of Captain Eugene Cernan to East Ridge, Tenn., February 22, 1973”, and “Josef 73” (maybe artist?) written on top wing. Postal cover has Apollo 17 mission insignia, printed facsimile crew signatures, and genuine Cernan signature in blue, with mission data card enclosed. Postcard by S.M. Kessler has Apollo 10 mission insignia sticker, postmarked LISDA ’73, Jan 14, 1973, Uniondale, NY, with facsimile International Space Rescue Agreement on back.

COA included for signed cover.

NOTE: Lots of bends in the sheet-metal, the base has some wear, and brass plate has scratch.
