The first manned Saturn V moon rocket sits expectantly on the pad at Cape Kennedy in the colorful dawn hours of December 21, 1968, as NASA prepares to send humans to the Moon for the first time in history, beating the Soviet Union. Signed in silver, but Lovell wrote “CDR” instead of his actual “CMP” position.

COA included.

Framed with a 3.4″x3″ embroidered mission patch, set in a black suede matte.

NOTE: Lovell wrote the wrong crew position “CDR” (which he was on Apollo 13), instead of his actual Apollo 8 crew position of “CMP”.
