Edgar Mitchell – Flag 16×20

Apollo 14’s lunar module pilot (LMP) Edgar Mitchell poses next to the flag on the plain at Fra Mauro during the first of two 4 hour moonwalks performed by himself and mission commander (CDR) Alan Shepard. Mitchell has pulled down his adjustable visor flaps to shield his eyes from the bright Sun lying low on the horizon and almost directly in front of him. This landing site was originally chosen for the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission, but was reassigned to Apollo 14, that landed nearly a year after Apollo 13 was forced to cancel their landing.

Only available in a 16×20.

Comes with a COA.

Printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper, as are all our photos. The finest for color and longevity.

Framed with a 4″ patch.
