Alan Bean’s breathtaking depiction of Alan Shepard’s impromptu golf shot near the end of the Apollo 14 moonwalks. Shepard had “a genuine six-iron” golf club modified to fit one of his lunar tools, and hit two golf balls in the low lunar gravity. He radioed, “I’m going to try a little sand trap shot here.”
Print #681 out of an edition of 850. Signed in pencil by Bean and the entire Apollo 14 crew, and numbered.
