This final Gemini flight had rookie Buzz Aldrin undergoing a very successful and nearly effortless EVA, which paved the way towards a moon landing three years later. The Gemini program had practiced and mastered rendezvous, docking and EVA; all elements of a mission to the moon.

Signed in bright blue by mission commander Lovell and pilot Aldrin. A difficult crew to obtain. Photo on Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper, the finest available.
